Tufwane has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry. Currently he heads the Licensing Section of the Energy Regulator in Malawi where he provides Secretariat service to two committees of the Board on energy licensing matters.

Tufwane was instrumental in the formation and establishment of the Energy Regulator’s Regional Offices in Southern Malawi.

Tufwane holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering, an MSc in Sustainable Energy Science and an MBA.
