Davie is a highly dependable resource in overseeing the Corporate Mission, Corporate Purpose, company’s future Scenario Planning and Corporate Vision, the creation and implementation of the Corporate Strategy, and the Corporate Reputation. He has a huge passion in SME development and currently consults under the SME Clinic, a not-for-profit Trust established to strengthen the capacity of Government, CSOs, Banks and Entrepreneurs in SME development and growth.

Davie has well-honed skills in operations of Microfinance Institutions. He has extensive practical hands-on experience in Corporate Governance amassed through serving as non-executive director in a wide spectrum of corporate Committees over a period of 15 years in Public and Private Trusts. 

Davie holds a Master of Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management in Netherlands and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from The Polytechnic (University of Malawi). He also holds various Certificates in Project Finance & Investment Appraisal (1^st E-Bank, Philippines), Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring, Credit Skills, Customer Relationship Management, Mastering Credit Risk and SME Training.
