Macmillan is responsible for implementing policy decisions of the Board and managing operations of the institution. He provides leadership in the development and implementation of financial, performance and risk management strategies of the institution. He drives company growth through dynamic team leadership, product development, and strategy enhancement and alignment with business environment.

Macmillan has diverse work experience from academia, microfinance, international non-governmental organisations, and, managing start-ups. With over 15 years’ experience, he leverages expertise in governance, analysis, financial modelling, business performance management, risk management and talent development.

Macmillan hold a Master of Commerce (Financial Management) degree from Amity University, a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Malawi, Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting (CIMA), and a Diploma in Project Management (AOE).
