Esnart Chikapa was forced into business while still in junior secondary school.  Lack of support for her education left her with no other option but to start selling mandasi in the neighbourhood and at school.

After secondary school Esnart moved from one employment to another and managed to save K50,000, with which she started going to Tete in Mozambique to buy zitenje, sometimes fresh fish or dry fish to resell in Malawi.

Over the years, Esnart has tried different businesses, which have taken her to Kyera, Tunduma and Dares-Salaam in Tanzania, and to Zambia. Esnart finally settled in fabrics. She has a shop in Lilongwe main market but also sells online through her Facebook page, Essies Fabric Shop.

How FinanceRite came to Rescue “In 2023, I bought some textiles in Dubai and did not have money clear the goods with Malawi Revenue Authority. A friend told me about FinanceRite. So I decided to come and I was not disappointed. The loan I got was used to clear the goods,” explained Esnart why she got a loan from FinanceRite.
“After I had repaid the loan, I went back to FinanceRite for another loan to increase my business capital as I expected more business during the harvesting season and also the dry season when many people plan for their marriage engagements and weddings
